Cherry Drive Elementary School

I have been a professional educator in District 12 for 24 years. I spent 20 of those years as a classroom teacher in both third and fourth grades. Part of those twenty years was teaching third grade grade at Cherry Drive from 1987 to 1995. After teaching 4th grade at Skyview, I returned to Cherry Drive in 2005 as an instructional coach. When Cherry Drive became a partnership school with the University of Colorado at Denver in the fall of 2007, I moved into the position of site coordinator. As site coordinator I am responsible for coaching, mentoring, and supporting teacher candidates throughout their internships at our school. I also work closely with classroom teachers as they work with teacher candidates placed in their classrooms.
