This ensemble is for interested Third Grade students. BOOMWHACKERS are plastic tubes that are cut to different lengths. Each tube has a specific pitch that will sound when struck against the ground, arm, knee, head, or any hard surface. These instruments require strong focus throughout a piece of music because each student is responsible for a specific pitch throughout the duration of the song. Our focus is to perform 1-3 minute pieces written specifically for BOOMWHACKERS. For our upcoming concert, we are collaborating with the choir on one of the performance pieces.

The Boomwhacker Ensemble will be starting January 2010
