Mondays and Fridays are "Discovery Days" in all specials classes. Each month students will be studying a specific country. Students will be introduced to traditional dances, songs, children's games and visual art from the countries that are being studied. There will be several assemblies scheduled throughout the year in honor and celebration of the cultures.

September - Ghana, Africa (Homowo Yam Festival)

October - Mexico (Dia de los Muertos)

November/December - Holidays around the World

January - China (Chinese New Year)

February - Brazil (Carnival)

March - Russian (Russian Easter Festival)

April - Australia
